Oliver Schmidt, Director Corporate and Trust, ATU, contributed the chapter on Liechtenstein.

“Private Foundations World Survey, published by Oxford University Press, is a highly topical as well as encompassing reference manual on the legislation on private foundations in the 21 most important international foundation jurisdictions whose different legal orders have been made comparable by the use of a uniform questionnaire in connection with a summary factsheet. In addition the book contains a general chapter on the various uses of international private foundations as well as detailed chapters on the taxation of private foundations in the UK and the USA.

This book, published in August 2013, comes in the form of a 624 page hardcover edition in the English language, which, with a view to private foundations, complements both the Trusts & Trustees annual special issue “Private Foundations: A World Review”, edited by Dr. Johanna Niegel, as well as the 2010 book edition of the Gothard / Shah “World Trust Survey”, both published by Oxford University Press.
